As we enter summer, we hope that you and your family are doing well. We are very mindful of the pressures that so many of you have experienced this school year through the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been an unprecedented time for all of us, and we want to do all we can to help.

APPLICATION FEE

In an effort to help families this school year, the Exceptional SC Board of Directors voted this morning to not charge an application fee at this time for the upcoming school year. We hope this helps in some small way with your family’s summer budgeting.

APPLICATION PORTAL OPENING JULY 1

The application portal for the 2020-2021 school year opens this Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 12 noon and will remain open until Monday, August 31, 2020 at 5 pm.

As always, scholarships are awarded on incumbency and available funding and are NOT awarded on a first-come-first-serve basis. You may apply anytime during the application window.  

TADS ACCOUNTS

This year, we are moving to an enrollment model, which will allow your paperwork to roll over for the next school year.  We also have a new parent/guardian form as part of our application. This form will need to be signed uploaded for every application. You can find the form here on our website. 

To apply, you will need:

• basic household contact information
• the eligible school in which you plan to enroll your child
• a copy of your child’s eligibility paperwork (You only need one of the two forms filled out –The Educator form or Medical Professional form)
• new parent/guardian form
