Important – Parental Refundable Credit application update
| Due to more winter weather in the forecast that may impact applicants’ ability to submit Parental Refundable Credit applications, the SCDOR is again postponing the application open date to February 1 at 8:30 am. The 2021 Parental Refundable Credit cap has been raised from $2 million to $5 million for tax year 2021as allowed bySC Code Section 12-6-3790. Parental Refundable Credit applications must be submitted online using the SCDOR’s free online tax portal,MyDORWAY. Applications that are mailed, faxed, or emailed will not be accepted.
